Atascadero moves forward with Eagle Ranch plan

The Atascadero City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to allow staff to begin processing a general plan amendment and future annexation application for a 3,400 acre project known as Eagle Ranch.
The project, located south of Atascadero, includes more than 452 potential future housing lots, an equestrian center and a possible resort.
"This will be the largest annexation in the history of the city," said Community Development Director Warren Frace.
A conceptual land-use plan is expected in the next six months.
