A Large Portion of Atascadero's Eagle Ranch To Be Protected

ATASCADERO
Three thousand acres southwest of Atascadero may be marked for conservation.
The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County says it has entered a negotiating agreement to protect a portion of Eagle Ranch.
The land has been managed as a working cattle ranch and wildlife refuge since 1964.
The agreement will keep local plants and wildlife species intact.
